In emails, such links may also allow ProWare to determine if you have clicked on a link in the email, and the information about this interaction may be connected to your personal identity. If you do not want ProWare to collect information about the links you clicked, you can simply choose not to click on the links in an e-mail that ProWare sends you.

For other, non-ProWare sites, the site's owner's privacy policy will be referenced. It is ProWare's practice to require such suppliers and business partners to handle information in a manner consistent with ProWare's privacy statement.

Transaction Monitoring (TxM) is a key security approach adopted in the UK and globally. Our approach is in line with National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and Cabinet Office recommended guidance and industry good practice. We monitor transactions to protect taxpayers from infringement of their data by criminals or fraudsters. Without the protection offered by TxM, personal data could be compromised, leading to fraud against taxpayers or the UK Exchequer.  You must help us protect our users’ confidential data by sending us particular types of user audit data which we will record. Our APIs provide HTTP headers that you can use to pass this audit data to us. These headers can influence the processing of the API call, or support our prosecutions for tax or duty fraud.

Security of Your Personal Data

ProWare is committed to protecting the personal data you share with us. ProWare uses a combination of industry-standard security technologies, procedures, and organizational measures to help protect your personal data from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. ProWare supports online security using secure server technology because we want your data to be safe. There are state-of-the-art security arrangements and facilities on ProWare sites to prevent abuse.

We bind our employees to observe your privacy and confidentiality rights.

We may use your email address to confirm your opening of an account, to send you notice of payments, to send you information about changes to our products and services, and to send notices and other disclosures as required by law. Generally, users cannot opt-out of these communications, but they will be primarily informational in nature rather than promotional.

ProWare provides you the opportunity to exercise an opt-out choice if you do not want to receive other types of communication from us such as emails or updates from us regarding new services and products offered on this website or if you do not want us to share your personal information with third parties.
